HyCo
HyCO is hydrogen production with carbon capture, sequestration, and storage. Hydrogen production processes from fossil fuels may be modified to isolate the CO₂ as a pure stream to then be dried, compressed and transported for storage. This hydrogen is designated ‘blue hydrogen’, where 50-95% of the CO₂ that would be produced can be captured, and reused as a sustainable process.
