Taiyo Nippon Sanso (“TNSC”), the Japanese operating company in Nippon Sanso Holdings Group supplied hydrogen gas for Toyota Motor Corporation (“Toyota”)'s hydrogen engine vehicle participating in the "IDEMITSU 1500 SUPER ENDURANCE 2022" competition.
Toyota's "ORC ROOKIE GR Corolla H2 concept" vehicle, powered by hydrogen, raced in the competition (held in Buriram, Thailand in December 2022), as part of Toyota's commitment to contributing to achieving carbon neutrality and establishing a sustainable society in harmony with nature.
TNSC has been supplying hydrogen to Toyota's hydrogen engine vehicles in Japanese races and, as part of this effort, the company transported its mobile packaged hydrogen station, "Hydro Shuttle MIZUE," to Thailand to continue supporting the hydrogen engine vehicles.
The company is dedicated to pursuing various initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions through its industrial gas business, aiming to contribute to a more sustainable future. This effort is in alignment with Toyota's strategy for achieving carbon neutrality.
Taiyo Nippon Sanso will keep working towards a more sustainable future by promoting the use of green fuels and reducing carbon emissions in the transportation industry.
